Storage win for US rooftop solar owners

Owners of residential rooftop solar PV systems in the US can now receive a 30 per cent tax credit for adding battery energy storagesystems, according to a ruling from the countrys tax authority. But there is a caveat: the battery storage system must only receive power from the solar array and not from the grid, in the case of grid-tied rooftop solar systems.
